Somewhere

Somewhere at the end of the day, I get to hug you.
Somewhere when it is quiet and still, I get to hear your laugh.
Somewhere between dusk and dawn, I get to hold you.
Somewhere at the end of a rainbow I get to ask you anything.
So until somewhere is every day, and all the time. I will trust God to hug you, listen to your laugh, hold you and listen to all of your answers.
Until then I get to do all of these with your Daddy and big brothers.
Love you to the moon and back!
XOXO Mommy

When Sara won, Giving is Good asked her if she would be willing to share more about what inspired this poem.
“The poem was written for my little girl Cecilia. She is twin sister to my youngest son, Joshua. She no longer had a heartbeat at 31 weeks and 1 day, and was born sleeping May 14, 2014. All three big brothers, myself and my hubby rest easy knowing she is with God until we can be with her.”

Thank you, Sara. We are very honored to share this and congratulations on winning the prizes. Thank you to everyone that submitted a poem.
